The V8 Superute's have a capped grid capacity of 24, and yes, this is 1 of the 24 vehicles that will race at Darwin in June this year. If you want to race in the V8 Superutes, you need to have a REC.
The sale comes with REC, which is required to be part of this great series that runs only at V8 Supercar events, which means large crowds and TV coverage on Foxtel and Kayo for every race live.
This Hilux was raced by Aaron Borg in 2021 and set the fastest lap at Bathurst.
During 2023, the engine was fully refresh by category engine builder WARSPEED. At that time, the gearbox and diff centre were fully rebuilt by ATC, category approved drive line supplier. Since rebuild, the V8 Superute was raced at Bathurst by international driver Tom Oliphant, and then at the Gold Coast by John Stephenson. Due to other commitments, the Ute did not run at Bathurst earlier this year.
The V8 Superute Series has a growing following and the category are working on many improvements that will be a benefit to anyone racing in the series. There is plenty of TV coverage with all races televised live.
