TJ Fuel Injection as used on many factory Lotus Cortina and Escorts from late 60's to early 70's. Also used on many brands of open wheelers with Lotus Twincam and other engines. This system was originally used on an Elfin 600 F2 car however I never used it. This is the 42mm race version and used modern weber style throttle bodies and a basic metering unit, electrical and mechanical pumps and was an alternative to the Lucas slide throttle system. Roll CageLog Book
1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfins ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car
