In the late 1960’s Sir Jack Brabham retired from international motor racing and bought a Ford dealership on the Hume Highway at Greenacre in Sydney’s west. It became Jack Brabham Ford, the same dealership that would later go on to sell the one and only production Ford Falcon XA GTHO. The Ford XW Falcon GTHO Phase II is arguably the toughest of all the GTHO models Ford made. With all of the 267 examples produced having “solid” 351 4V Cleveland engines, 31 spline Top Loader gearboxes and differentials. Falcon GT enthusiasts would argue that the Phase II is their favourite. This example, restored approximately 15 years ago in its original colour of Diamond White with saddle interior. 5.4 lt rare manual V8, 5th anniversary (only two for sale on car sales) most of the work has been completed. the car needs the interior finishing, we have no time due to work and other commitments. mostly motorsport, have all receipts for the parts and the repairs completed. will need to go for a wovi inspection once finished. original right rear quarter damage (see photo) has been repaired by a local panel shop, if you have the time to finish it. this is a great car and drives great.
