The original design was by MEV (Mills Extreme Vehicles) in the UK, but the chassis was re-engineered to comply with Australian Design Rules. It is based on 2004 Ford Focus 1.8l twin cam Zetec 16V engine and five speed gearbox. The engine has been rebuilt with higher lift cams, so there is only 500 km on the engine.
