Currently in need of paint and assembly, this replica Lotus Cortina has been a log booked racing car since the 1990's under CAMS/Motorsport Australia regs Group Nb/Appendix J. Alloy caged and successfully campainged by several owners. Purchased in 2019, I have undergone a full body and mechanical rebuild. Body was stripped bare and sandblasted. 1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). Sold in batch of six too Raper Rodriguez. raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available. History thereafter hazy but Bill Jowarski , Don Hamilton and Burt Kurtis (1980) seems to have owned/raced in USA. Bought in 2011 to Australia by Rob Hanns and Steve Lunn. Purchased in part by G Dell in 2018 and totally rebuilt. Chassis repaired by Elwyn Bickely and gearb
