The ideal track day car, especially for the MG enthusiast. About 90 of these supercars were built by MG in the UK between 2003 and 2006. They were available in three forms SV (4.6L Ford V8), SV-R (5.0L Ford V8) and SV-S (4.6L Ford V8 with Roush supercharger). Only about six were SV-Ss. The Elfin Streamliner chassis number #7 was ordered by Peter Manton of Monaro motors Melbourne in September 1960 (known as the Monaro MG). Garrie Cooper built the car using MGA twin cam part supplied by Peter Manton. The Streamliner used wishbone suspension MGA twin cam wheels and gearbox with a MGA pushrod super charged engine. Peter Manton first ran the car in February 1961 international meeting in Ballarat (Australian Gold Star race , which latter became the Tasman series). Peter came 3rd
