A true piece of post-war motorsport history, this 1949 Marwyn 500 JAP is believed to be the most original surviving example of its kind anywhere in the world. This car was built by Bob Britton, possibly prior to 1990. The original coupe body shell was modified by Charles Haynes and the car set up for motorsport. The engine is a Toyota 4age 20 valve 1.6 litre with Microtech ECU. I enjoyed running the car with the Golden Era Auto Racing club at Wakefield Park up until the pandemic in 2020.
