The Elfin Streamliner chassis number #7 was ordered by Peter Manton of Monaro motors Melbourne in September 1960 (known as the Monaro MG). 1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfins ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since.
