The AC Schnitzer S5 3.0iX is a Schnitzer conversion of a BMW 525 iX This car was built by BMW in RHD (unique for a 525iX) and then underwent the conversion at the UK Schnitzer workshop. The original M50 BMW engine is replaced with a Schnitzer S5 engine which is 3.0 litre and with Schnitzer cams, porting and new manifold and exhaust. Completely rebuilt over the last period of Covid, ground up restoration, has not been on a track since rebuild. Fitted with a Nissan FJ 20 ET engine with forged internals and Motec management.
