A well-known and actively campaigned Australian Historic Formula 3 car with excellent provenance. First owned by Neil Neilson Holden and driven by Peter Roach, the car was purchased by Hugh Gartley in 1974 and then raced, maintained and developed by him for more than 46 years. I purchased the car directly from Hugh in 2021 and am only the third owner since new. The car comes with its current CAMS / Motorsport Australia logbook and Certificate of Description, along with the original green CAMS

540 cube big block chev, crower crank 4.250” stroke, Oliver rods 6.535”, JE Blower pistons, rotating assembly all brand new, Dart 10.200 tall deck block fresh bore + 20, Pontiac big chief CNC cylinder heads, TND rollers, custom grind roller cam and lifters, Jessel timing set , 1471 littlefield super charger, new fuel system, bird hat with nitro barrel valve, Enderly 110 pump, fisher blow off valve, 5 stage dry sump system, Peterson tank, everything in photo comes with the engine.

This car is one of the most original mk.6 Cheetahs. It has a motor improvement engine, with forged pistons and conrods and has a steel crank. It is dry dumped and runs twin 48 does webers. Has a spare set of rims and some spares. Ready to race and eligible for historic.

Group Nc log booked car with new engine. Currently running 48mm Webers, Cat 311/304 cam, upgraded billet rockers (Cat), Ross race pistons, four speed gear box and matching diff, (spare diff included in the sale).
