My father (Bill Sherwood, racing under the name Bill Tatham) built the original in the late 1960's and raced it up until the mid 1970's. He wanted to beat the local hero's - Moffat, Johnson, Geoghegan, etc, so fitted it with a 302 Windsor mid-mounted. It was indeed very fast in a straight line but no so good around the corners!
