The Nota Major was the 29th car produced by the Nota factory in Sydney to the order of Mr. Barrie Garner whose intention was to win the prestigious NSW Hillclimb Championships and he succeeded by winning it in 1962. Chassis #4 was one of the first batch of five cars built. It was completed in early 1992. It was originally white with black signwriting as shown in the 1992 Pro-Sport calendar.
