1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

This is the 3rd car built by Jack Pryor and Clive Adams and was apparently modelled of the Stan Coffey Cooper Bristol that Clive had driven on occasion. 1995 GTR33 track car, not complied, whole shell was seam welded. weld on full cage .trust bonnet and front bar. RB26 engine dismantled waiting for re build, spun a bearing, 350kw at wheels on E85. has N! bottom end , virgin bore for rebuild, good head with Tomei cams and all usual machine work, plus a brand new head RB26 same work done. been using a Mamba 3582 single ,no issue. plus pair of HKS 2530 ,dyno time only.
