1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

This is a great looking car that gets attention everywhere it goes. This car is set up for hillclimb and lapdash event, not Legend Racing. but could be returned quite easy if wanted to competed in a Tri-Series competition lapdash at Tamworth (21 - 22 May 2022). It has been modified beyond Legend racing specs. Obviously it has wings front and rea, it also has a full floor pan with skirts. Running soft slicks with little wear and plenty of runs left in them.
