1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

Professionally Australian built with American know-how. Motor is a fully worked big block Chrysler (253 cube) 3 speed gearbox, with USA quick change diff. Has triple Rotchester cars and an all alloy body. The tyres are racing 600x16 Dunlops, done 20hrs. The car itself had never been damaged and is well looked after.
