Own a piece of history and one the best looking drag cars, the ex- Alf Sorbello's Wild Bunch BMW 850i which ran in AA/AP. The body shell was hand made from new individual light weight body panels that Soebello purchased from BMW motorsport. BMW E36 shell over a tube frame chassis. Full tube frame car and is yet to have it's final tech inspection. The chassis can be teched to go as low as 6.0secs with the addition of 3 more bars - 2 small ones behind the driver and one in the side intrusion area (was informed by the andra inspector when it was last viewed). Up for regretable sale is my 325 convertible, I have owned and built this car over the last 14yrs. Don't need to sell, just no time now to use it. What started life as a stock 325 auto convertible is now a 6spd manual, turboed M50 b25 stoker (2.8) with Haltech platinum sport ecu running on E85 making 380rwkw at 20 pound and 440kw at 26 pound.
