1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. Selling my 2011 Dallara F308 with Neil Brown Engineering Engine. Car was run by T-sport and won the 2012 British F3 National class. Car has run very successfully in the NSW formula race car championship. Engine had under 1000km on it so plenty of life left with rebuilds recommended around 5000km but have seen them up to 7000km. This is a genuine NG Elfin with build plate EP 002 and comes with current log book and COD. It has had extensive development work and is a front running car with top HP engine, weight reduction where allowed and sorted steering and suspension. It comes with 2 sets of wheels and spares include a nose cane, brake drums, trailing arms, distributor, front shocks and assorted items. Wheel alignment bars are also included. Last outing at Phillip Island Festival of Speed qualified 3rd out of 16 cars.

Chassis #4 was one of the first batch of five cars built. It was completed in early 1992. It was originally white with black signwriting as shown in the 1992 Pro-Sport calendar. Its first owner was Don Farthing and Peter Sneller of Zeus Racing. Don entered the car into LeMans in 1992, and was allocated #62. It was one of three Pro Sports entered but financing for the group could not be arranged and hence all Pro Sports were officially recorded as ‘did not arrive’. Zeus added some red squares
