1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfin's ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car

Steel Mexico front wing flares added. • Bare metal shell repainted. • Rebuilt and upgraded 1600cc GT OHV engine built by Trevor Hines. • Significant number of new or NOS parts used including:- radiator, starter motor, alternator, head lining, 9” rear brakes, Mk2 front suspension, M16 calipers, all new bearings and bushes, tca’s, carpet, laminated windscreen, clutch, battery, new tyres. • Genuine UK made
