Quaife all aluminium four speed close ratio synchromesh straight cut gearbox. Heavy duty layshaft. Ratios 2.39:1, 1.69:1, 1.34:1, 1:1. Has been tested in my historic clubman but does not comply with the logbook description so has been removed. Can be inspected at Mile End. SA. The top cover is off for easy access. This gearbox type is often described as the "rocket" and has a single rail selector. All components were purchased through Burton in the UK.

TJ Fuel Injection as used on many factory Lotus Cortina and Escorts from late 60's to early 70's. Also used on many brands of open wheelers with Lotus Twincam and other engines.
