I'm selling our 1971 Datsun 240Z shell that has been in dry storage for 15 years. This car was purchased in around 2005 from Victoria with a blown motor (L28) and then raced for several years in local SA event with various L series engines. Currently nothing is fitted but the loom is complete. After racing I realised that the car has quite a lot of rust to the point that the drip rails have been removed and there is rust through the roof. For sale is a near new Aussie Racing Car. The car was purchased in 2019 and did 2 race meetings before being put into storage for around 7 years. It has since done 1 test day at the end of 2025. In it's original configuration this car won the UK Sports 2000 Series, driven by Ian Taylor. The rolling chassis was imported into Australia in 1982 and modified to run in the 1983 Australian Sports Car Championship. A new FT-200 and a "270 bhp" Mazda Rotary 12A PP were installed along with wider wheels and larger brakes.
