This McLaren M10B was originally a spare tub for New Zealand Grand Prix winner the late Neil Allen after initially being crashed. After being sent back to Trojan for repair and returned, Allen would sell the tub and spare parts to Porsche ace Alan Hamilton who built the tub into a complete car. Entering the Australian Drivers Championship in 1971 Hamilton came 3rd Australian Grand Prix and was equal 2nd in Gold Star Championship with Kevin Bartlett (who owner the sister car Neil Allen car)

Up for regretable sale is my 325 convertible, I have owned and built this car over the last 14yrs. Don't need to sell, just no time now to use it. What started life as a stock 325 auto convertible is now a 6spd manual, turboed M50 b25 stoker (2.8) with Haltech platinum sport ecu running on E85 making 380rwkw at 20 pound and 440kw at 26 pound. Bob Fernley , Force India, owned the car and ran Jim Crawford(Ex F1) and Michael Roe in the 1984 CanAm championship, the RK 847 finished a credible 2nd in its inaugural year of competition.
