Some would argue that the “Big Port” XB GTs were the last of the true muscle cars of the era. Only 139 examples produced at the beginning of the XB range to be fitted with both 4V heads along with the Top Loader four speed gearbox. What makes this one that little bit more special is the fact it is mostly untouched and somewhat of a survivor. Still wearing all its original Red Pepper paint and blackouts. Sitting on its original 12 slot wheels with dress rims and correct centre caps. Extremely sol

This car came from an Indian reservation in Arizona and was sold new by Converse Motors in Albaqueque New Mexico and so it spent its life in the desert and had almost no rust unlike the ones that went to the east coast and rusted very quickly because of salt on the roads. I did a full bare metal resoration on this car 45 years ago and have been the only driver since. I entered this car in the 12th Summernats and won Top Custom Classic and that’s the only car show that this car was entered into.

Great useable classic car. Mechanically sound and great body and paint. One small dent and scratch in the boot lid only. Drives very well, especially on the freeway. Loves to cruise. This car needs very little, just get in and drive. Original interior shows expected Patina. Perfect entry into classic car ownership. These Jaguars are great value at the moment.
