1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfins ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. Owned this for almost 20 years, car body has around 100 thou on it, the engine was built with bigger cams, stage 2 BC Engine was rebuilt with a triple plate gasket kit throughout, runs E85 1000cc injectors, bigger external fuel pump, brand new hyper gear turbo low mount with steam pipe manifold, straight through 3 inch exhaust with twin blast pipes, five stud conversion with s15 brakes. So many mods done, it’s been dyno tuned with a haltec platinum, heaps of after market steering arms from gktec

Selling my 2.4l stroked evo 6, engine has just been fully rebuilt by Craig at Aurora Speed not a cent spared in the build.
