1970 Ford Capri Perana

One of the three Rainsford Perana Capris that was built in the mid 1990s to compete in endurance rallies. Competed in the 2000 London to Sydney Marathon. Stig Blomvist wining the event in a sister car to this car. Number plate is a tribute to Stig!!

302 Windsor V8, Tremec TK 500 gearbox, Holden VR / VS Commodore LSD and suspension.
MCA Gold suspension. The original Drummond water cooled suspension included in sale, but would need reconditioning.
Hydraulic Handbrake. Heated front screen recently replaced.
Lexan side windows with vents.

CAMS / MA log booked car. Has competed in WA gravel championship and also entered endurance events out of WA. These include Perth to Sydney Marathon in 2022 and at the Outback Trek RFDS Fundraiser in 2023. WA championship event late 2022 in Clubman Cup as shake down prior to endurance events. WA Rally Registration, has previously had similar in QLD. Has competed in Clubman Cup at Grimswade Stages 2024, Karri Rally 2024 and the final round Experts Cup 2024. Finished all and no issues.

Has long range fuel tanks (47 litre x 2 in car and also additional 65 litre that is currently removed) "Dust light" roof rack light bar.

12 Gravel Rally wheels, 5 Minilite style wheels, assorted gravel, tarmac and road tyres.

Car was prepped for Tarmac / Targa West 2025 and decided to use a different car. So, new Rotors front and rear, new pads, further heat shield to Clutch Slave Cylinder and general service. Not used since. Motorsport interest moving in a different direction and so this one needs to go!!
