For sale my simply stunning MK1 escort Group 4 rally car.
Full spec Historic car presented in Rodger Clarke “Old Gold” colours.
All the best bits built by Raycroft Autos Christchurch a world renowned builder of group4 escorts.
Engine is a new Blue Sky Engineering BDG on genuine webbers, lumenition ignition, BDA works type linkage, L1 cams. Big Alloy rad oil cooler dry sump all airoquip hose and fittings throughout. Proper heater in the car a must for any rally car.
Gearbox is a ZF Race gearbox Dog leg first the only one that is FIA Historic legal, proper syncromesh gears, steel rings etc. Ratio's: 1st 2.3, 2nd 1.8, 3rd 1.36, 4th 1.14 and 5th 1.1. One piece prop.
Axle is 5.1 c.w.p. Fully floating GRP4 gripper LSD, rear brakes are Ford M16 disks. Slipper spring with gartrac 146lb five leaf gravel springs with bilstein turreted shockers.
Front suspension is Bilstein group 4 adjustable big springs allloy hubs long group 4 studs +10mm track. AP historic brakes big wheel bearings.
Shell is fully fabricated group 4 bits, big tunnel big diff housing modern cage double door bars alloy fuel tank twin facet pumps filter king filter and pressure regulator all lines airoquip.
Motor mec evo one seats light weight OMP belts light.
Professionally re wired with smith period gauges.
It's so hard to list everything and I am sure I missed something.
This is a very special car that has done very little work less that 700k from new and remains in mint condition for sale at a fraction of a new build.
