Incredibly reliable and never failed to complete at Targa with one Class Win. Cams Logbook and ready to race again.
The car still wears most of its original paint and is in great condition.
It runs standard camshafts and Bosch fuel injection, with exhaust extractors. It has the hydraulic timing chain conversion fitted, a must have upgrade.
It has numerous suspension modifications with high quality parts supplied by the well renowned specialists Elephant Racing Porsche. It retains the torsion bars so it can run in the standard specification category at Targa events. Recently some of the suspension bushes have been refreshed and the suspension and ride height set up by TD Porsche Specialists in Brisbane. It has a fabulous sounding high performance exhaust system and a brake upgrade to later Porsche Boxster calipers on the front and vented rotors on the back. The brakes have been recently rebuilt with new rotors / rebuilt calipers (seals and pistons) with competition pads. Its braking performance is remarkable. As you would expect once out on the open road this car is thrilling to drive yet forgiving and incredibly communicative. The suspension allows for spirited driving on normal roads without issue. It is currently registered on club plates allowing for driving on open roads in addition to race events.
The gearbox is excellent and has a Wevo shifter fitted to the 915 transaxle along with a competition clutch.
A full and excellent quality roll cage is fitted with a quick release steering wheel that makes entry and exit through the roll cage far easier.
An extensive folder of invoices accompanies the car along with its original books, keys, and service history. Overall, a superb classic 911 that is ready to race again or potentially for use as quick road car.
