Ford Escort Mk2 Open Class Group 4

My lovely clubman spec open class group4 escort, new build 2021 used for the mainland series 2022, 2nd in class a proven finisher.
All parts are NEW unless stated.
Shell was striped back to bare metal new panels and re fabricated where necessary new cage, link boxes, rad cut out, big tunnel, group4 skid kit, fuel tank platform, chassis mounted engine etc. etc. New rubbers door seals boot seal

Engine is a Vauxhall C2.0XE with all the best bits. Forged pistons, rods, big valve Jenvey direct to head throttle body's 330 injectors QED 450 cams, double valve springs, solid lifters, pace dry sump system, large header ali rad, DTA ecu, Simpson race S/S exhaust. Built for maximum reliability and driveability with great torque. See video. Note: it was still making power but in the words of Peter Hickman "big revs kill engines..... even very good engines". So for me enough is enough.

Gear box is a Quaife 60G by C Bradley motor sport, long leaver short shift sequential 2.2 1st overdrive 6th Quartermaster V drive twin plate rally clutch with hydraulic actuation.

Axle is a rebuilt Atlas fully floating new bearings 4.6 Crown wheel and pinion with Cosworth rear calipers and AP vented disks, six linked Bilstein coil over rear suspension.

Front brakes are AP4567 with WRC J hook disks on Bilstein adjustable platforms with gravel or tarmac inserts and a choice or springs. RIX engineering gravel/ bumpy tarmac tension strut kit with sway bar 2.4 H/D quick rack genuine RS green track rod ends, in situ adjustable TCA, world cup cross member lowed rack mounts.

Completely rewired new loom with new Stack gauges ETA isolation switch with remote off switch. RIX electric power steering, Sparco seats with head restraints, TRS six point super light belts, lifeline fire extinguisher.

A proper car built to finish a winner in the right hands.

This car could ship tax free from NZ.

We have run this car on gravel and tarmac with fantastic results.

There is also an option for spare standard C2.0XE engine to be included with the car.

Worth noting any modifications required to the roll cage to comply with Australian regs can be carried out in house.
