Built by Reliance Automotive Services in Canberra to compete in bitumen road rallies using tge highest quality components. Tge build philosophy was to create a vehicle which could be serviced within the allowed time in the rallies. Items such as fuses are not concealed but are mounted visibly for quick access. Internal wiring is also installed to be visible. The suspension was built to have the maximum travel and excellent compliance to cope with all road surfaces from smooth to very rough, wet and dry. The shock absorbers are M.C.A. with external canisters to prevent fluid overheating, thinning and compromising their performance. These are paired with King springs with Super Pro bushing. Brembo Evo 8 brakes are used front and back. An hydrolic hand break is fitted. The wheels are Enki, a fabricated 6 point roll cage is used and also a Cuscio strut tower brace is fitted. Seats are Sparco with Sabelt 3" seatbelts. The engine is 13b with high flow turbochargers, using light weight crack tested, blue printed and polished rotors to create a high torque power delivery. A K&N filter is used. The radiator is aluminium triple core. The exhaust is stainless steel by Apexi with Turbo Smart blow off valve. A Microtec LT10S is in control. A Reliance Automotive close ratio 5 speed gear set is used in tge original casing. The tailshaft is balanced and a 4.3:1 limited slip diff is used.
The car is well serviced and mechanically ready to use. It has great turn in and is easy to drive as witnessed by consistently being a winning or top 10 finishing car. I am now retired. This car would equally suite an entry level competitor to someone more serious. It is very economical to maintain and service and extremely reliable.
