Tarmac Rally - Renault Megane RS 265

This 2012 Megane RS265 car was purpose built for Tarmac Rallying in Targa Tasmania by Renault Australia. Built from new the Renault Race team spec'd engine, suspension, brakes, internal, cage and comms. The 2.0 litre turbocharged, 6 speed engine has been tweaked by Renault engineers to give it the punch required to compete with fastest of supercars in Targa.
Immaculately maintained by the Buckby Motorsport team this car is ready to race. Specs throughout inc Velo Races seats & belts, Sabelt steering wheel, Monit computer and Stilo comms. The car is race ready and comes with an additional spare 6 wheels, 2 x Stilo helmets, 2 x HANS devises and rallysafe set up. Nothing to spend.
In 2015 it came 2nd in class in Targa Tas, beaten only by the McLaren 650s. It's superb handling and incredible braking power making a standout Tarmac Rally vehicle for either the beginner or the most experienced of drivers. The car was brought direct from Renault and the BeatNik Race Team won the Rookie medal in their first Targa. The team went on to complete 3 more Targa Tasmania's and is now time to handover to another owner. Very reliable, low KMs with minimal requirements from mechanics makes this a fun, great entry level race car that competes at all levels.
The car has not raced since 2019 but is used, maintained and registered with Special Interest plates to allow road use. The race wrap with sponsors has been removed leaving a original white finish for new owners to put there mark on it.
