1967 Elfin 400 (BB67 -4) Sports Car For Sale. An incredible opportunity to purchase an iconic piece of New Zealand’s Motor Racing history. The current owner has had it since 1980. Purchased new by Andy Buchanan who won the New Zealand Sports Car Championship in 1967/68 season. Followed by Graham Harvey winning in the 1968/69 & 1970/71 seasons. 1961 Elfin Zephyr Special. No.14 of the first 23 Elfins ever made. Built by Noel Heard & Gary Cooper using a 2.6 L Zephyr 6 cylinder motor. Noel raced it in the 1961 Grand Prix. Won many hill climb championships, this is a great piece of Australian motor racing history. Noel completely rebuilt the car in 1998. The car has been used very little since. It is logged as a group M car with many photos & trophies. Sadly, Noel Heard is no longer with us but he was a wealth of information about the car
