Only 2427 series 5 dodge Vipers were made, and according to the factory approximately 900 were ACRs. The Dodge Viper ACR Extreme has the high downforce aero package, with over 900kg at 260kmh at the rear and 250kg at the front. It was one of the last batch before the factory was closed. In factory spec it has a 8.4 litre V10 with 645 bhp with its current tune with different extractors and exhaust it has approx. 700bhp and over 800nm of torque. HISTORIC FORMULA FORD BUILT IN 1969. This pretty looking car was built by Brian Andrew an ex Chequered Flag mechanic and raced successfully by him in the inaurgural Formula Ford race in Australia. It was imported into New Zealand by Michael Pearse who raced it here in 1970/71. After Michael's ownership the car passed into the hands of a couple of chaps who used it for club events. It has been in my ownership since 1985. Probably the least raced F.F. In the country it even has the original
