HISTORIC FORMULA FORD BUILT IN 1969. This pretty looking car was built by Brian Andrew an ex Chequered Flag mechanic and raced successfully by him in the inaurgural Formula Ford race in Australia. It was imported into New Zealand by Michael Pearse who raced it here in 1970/71. After Michael's ownership the car passed into the hands of a couple of chaps who used it for club events. It has been in my ownership since 1985. Probably the least raced F.F. In the country it even has the original

This is a Lotus 23B that was re-bodied with wider wheels and body by John Harvey in the UK in 1968. It has history in the UK and Germany before I imported it to Australia in 1996 when it had a full back to bare chassis rebuild. The car is very competitive holding the Group O lap record at Morgan Park and has had many outright and class wins including the Jill Patterson Motors Trophy (EC), Queensland Tourist Trophy and several Lionel Ayres trophies.
