Very original example, being the sixth and last of this model clubman built in Adelaide in 1974 by Alpha Sports Production's (ASP) Rory Thompson and Ray Lewis. Chassis number AA711, the first Birrana, was built in Sydney by Tony Alcock trading as ‘MAs du Closs Engineering’ prior to the establishment of Birrana Racing Cars Pty Ltd with Malcolm Ramsay in 1972.
