I purchased with the idea of building a race car but I already have too many other cars and projects. Written off (stat write off) due to some basic damage to the rear quarter panel, some suspension arms and a wheel. Both the guard and the suspension arms have been repaired as shown. I'm happy to share the progress photos of the repair to the quarter panel but it was just from a car park fender bender and was nothing considerable at all. (refer to last photo) May 2023 build date. This BMW race car was built to a very high standard by Karl Begg in 2016, and then subsequently maintained and improved by Garth Walden and his gun team at GWR Australia continuously since my purchase from KB in 2017. Car has had an easy run under my ownership, competing only in the NSW PTC state championship from 2018 through to 2023 - with reduced appearances in the Covid affected years. Won B2 Class and second in the club championship in NSW PTC 2023. Very quick car in the right hands.
