Sierra XR - 8 5.0. Original unmolested South African Ford Homologated car. This car was was built by Ford South Africa as a special for Group 1 racing (series production) as we know it here. Only 250 cars were produced & homologated to comply and then went racing cleaning up the Group 1 series every round. Remenisant of the Perana Capri V8 1970. Engine rebuild by Brook Henry “Vee Two Australia” (1700kms since rebuild) Sache digital ignition fitted. Valve gaps recently done plus new carby slides & gaskets. Front fork upgrade with progressive springs & “Promax” fork valves. New “YSS” rear shocks. Comes with carby velocity stacks & double seat (plus owners & service manuals plus receipts). This bike has won 1st in its class 3 out of 3 times at the All Italian Show SA.
