This striking Daytona Coupe offered here is a rare and compelling piece of motorsport engineering, built on an extensively modified Factory Five chassis, with floor sections lowered by 50mm to increase headroom, enlarged cabin area, multiple layers of side and frontal impact protection, enlarged footwells with RHS frame sections added in conjunction with increased chassis down tubes which combined increase torsional stiffness by around 300% above standard. Category. Historic group R sports. Raced by Toleman as a European F2 car driven by Brian Henton in 1979, finishing runners up in championship. The car was then sold to a race team Genoa racing in America. It was converted to a single seater Can-Am sports car. Competing in the1983 World Sports Racing Prototypes. Driven by Marzio Romano in the USA. Other drivers include Maurizo Flammini and Juan Manuel Fangio 111. The car was totally restored in 1998 with no expense spared including a new tub
