The Nota Major was the 29th car produced by the Nota factory in Sydney to the order of Mr. Barrie Garner whose intention was to win the prestigious NSW Hillclimb Championships and he succeeded by winning it in 1962. In addition he raced it between 1960 and 1962 at Bathurst, Warwick Farm and Catalina Park with some success. Chassis #4 was one of the first batch of five cars built. It was completed in early 1992. It was originally white with black signwriting as shown in the 1992 Pro-Sport calendar. Its first owner was Don Farthing and Peter Sneller of Zeus Racing. Don entered the car into LeMans in 1992, and was allocated #62.
