WANTED. Looking for a project BMW 1502. 1602, or 2002, any year model. Looking to make a street legal car .Preferably manual with a sound body (some panel work, but not too much structural work is ok). With four wheels, interior, a worked or running engine is a bonus. Originally built by Gene Cook for Greg Crick. Not eligible for GROUP U but may run as ‘invited’. Being sold as a roller. NO MOTOR OR GEARBOX. The RX4 diff has been replaced with a 9” Ford. I bought the car in 1989 and in 1995, removed the turbo 13b, and replaced it with a 350 Chev.. The car has not run much since due to medical issues. The original moulds and spare original panels go with the car, as well as the original log book. It could be built with a 13b, 13b turbo, or 350 Chev. I did have

Group Nc log booked car with new engine. Currently running 48mm Webers, Cat 311/304 cam, upgraded billet rockers (Cat), Ross race pistons, four speed gear box and matching diff, (spare diff included in the sale). Extra set of wheels also included. Well sorted car that has previously enjoyed success at Wanneroo Raceway and Collie Motorplex. Great way to become involved in Historic Touring Car racing at a reasonable cost.
