This is the 3rd car built by Jack Pryor and Clive Adams and was apparently modelled of the Stan Coffey Cooper Bristol that Clive had driven on occasion. It as completely restored for me by Paul Trevethan in Melbourne and debuted at Winton in 2007 and has been running at the pointy end of Group Lb fields ever since. This McLaren M10B was originally a spare tub for New Zealand Grand Prix winner the late Neil Allen after initially being crashed. After being sent back to Trojan for repair and returned, Allen would sell the tub and spare parts to Porsche ace Alan Hamilton who built the tub into a complete car. Entering the Australian Drivers Championship in 1971 Hamilton came 3rd Australian Grand Prix and was equal 2nd in Gold Star Championship with Kevin Bartlett (who owner the sister car Neil Allen car)
