Originally a New Zealand car, this 1961 MG Midget is offered for sale for the first time in 8 years and was built by Ray Hartley of Wellington. The MG landed in Australia in 2010 (import papers held) and was initially under custodianship on the Sunshine Coast before being sold to its current owner just south of Port Macquarie. Third formula 3 built by Ron Tauranack and raced successfully by Jim Sullivan (the driver of the year to Europe 1964) From 65 to 70 owned by Promecon. Then purchase by Fred Opert of the USA, third owner Joe Bosworth raced as a formula Ford for 10 years in USA. Race logbook goes with car. Brought back to Australia and disassembled to rebuild.
