The Elfin Streamliner chassis number #7 was ordered by Peter Manton of Monaro motors Melbourne in September 1960 (known as the Monaro MG). Garrie Cooper built the car using MGA twin cam part supplied by Peter Manton. The Streamliner used wishbone suspension MGA twin cam wheels and gearbox with a MGA pushrod super charged engine. Now available for sale is this 1994 VR Holden HSV Commodore Series 1 GTS 215i 6 speed manual sedan with ABS & IRS, and HSV build number 054. This VR has had only two owners, with the current ownership now being 30 years. First used as a daily drive for ten years whilst carefully modifying the vehicle for weekend track events over the next ten years. The car has not been on the track since! Selling one of my FB89 Formula Fords - I raced two in 2025. This chassis had a perfect race record in the 2025 season being 7 races entered and 7 race wins (Winton long and short track events). When I purchased the chassis, it underwent a restoration including a chassis inspection and verification by Mike Borland. The car is offered with a race winning engine that has done limited kms from my Swift DB1. The bodywork and componentry all won the 2025 Phillip Island Classic as pictured above.
