Great History behind this car 1981 British Formula Atlantic Championship Placed 3rd with Phil Dowsett Driving the car. Competed in the 1981 Macau Grand Prix - Vern Schuppan driving. Car was shipped to Australia in 1982 by Graham Brown. Most recently competed in the Formula Atlantic races in New Zealand at Taupo and Highlands Park. In it's original configuration this car won the UK Sports 2000 Series, driven by Ian Taylor. The rolling chassis was imported into Australia in 1982 and modified to run in the 1983 Australian Sports Car Championship. A new FT-200 and a "270 bhp" Mazda Rotary 12A PP were installed along with wider wheels and larger brakes.
