This car is a BMW M8 (original e31) tribute car. It is a RHD race car which was rebuilt from an 850CSi originally raced in the UK Substantially upgraded, repainted to ‘Hellrot’ and rebuild by RaceFx at Hampton Downs over two years, to replicate the unique e31 M8. Originally built for the Australian Motor Racing Series. Raced once but series stopped. Since then the engine was rebuilt with best components available. A perfect car for a circuit-focused build. It has a lot of bodywork needed to be done as it is a statutory right off with almost all the airbags having blown. There is no structural damage however with the car driving and engine running smoothly.
