Lawrie Nelson's Mk3 Ford Capri 3.0S Group C race car. Raced at the Bathurst 1000 and in the ATCC between 1979 and 1983 Afterwards it became a club car racing in Marque Sports category from time to time. Since Phillip Is Historic meeting in 2019 It has been racing in the Heritage Touring Car series ( Historic Group A & C class) It comes with a Historic Log Book & Certificate Of Description. This car is a BMW M8 (original e31) tribute car. It is a RHD race car which was rebuilt from an 850CSi originally raced in the UK Substantially upgraded, repainted to ‘Hellrot’ and rebuild by RaceFx at Hampton Downs over two years, to replicate the unique e31 M8. Full cost of makeover at $300K+ ( not including the cost of the car).
