I have too many toys and too many projects so it time to cull the herd. I've had this cars for about two years, It hadn't been used for a number of years (ex Brian Sampson). I recommissioned it with new brakes, tyres, harnes etc.. I used it in a couple of times at a local super sprint, less than 30 mins total track time, its ready to race. This thing started life as a sweet, innocent Mini. Now? It’s been lovingly modified with a shortened WRX subframe. Think backyard motorsport Frankenstein made from a mix of wild decisions and good intentions. It’s running a Subaru motor with all-wheel drive, not because it made sense... but because I needed a reason to smile again. The Datsun starts first go. The engine is smooth. The gearbox is silky. The interior has had nothing done to it but is ok. The paintwork is requiring a lot of work but again ok. There's a small amount of rust.

For those in the know this car needs no introduction. This is a genuine Group C car with impeccable history still with it's original period racing shell. The car was originally campaigned in Group C by well known QLD racer Jack Lacey.
