In it's original configuration this car won the UK Sports 2000 Series, driven by Ian Taylor. The rolling chassis was imported into Australia in 1982 and modified to run in the 1983 Australian Sports Car Championship. A new FT-200 and a "270 bhp" Mazda Rotary 12A PP were installed along with wider wheels and larger brakes. For those in the know this car needs no introduction. This is a genuine Group C car with impeccable history still with it's original period racing shell. The car was originally campaigned in Group C by well known QLD racer Jack Lacey.
