This is a one off 1963 USAC (UNITED STATES AUTOMOBILE CLUB) National Midget Championship winner. The driver was Bob Wente who was a visitor to Australian speedcar racing in the sixties. He was inducted into the USAC Hall of Fame in 2014 & still has the 3rd greatest Midget race record in US Midget racing history. This is a 2008 BMW M3 in fantastic condition, it is an English import by the previous owner, who imported the car but without an import approval. As such he was given 3 options by the department of infrastructure, re-export the car, have it crushed, or import it as a race car. As the owner did not have a race car licence, he sold it to me and I imported it as a race car – the vehicle has NEVER been on a race track (YET).
